I hope you are all enjoying your monthly Stockpot which is keeping you all up to date with the news not only from around New Zealand but articles from other Chefs Associations around the world.

I remember a night back in Wellington at our conference in 1998 when after a few wines I was cornered by a few of our executive and asked if I'd like to take over as editor of Stockpot. Under the influence of a few to many wines I said YES.
The next day however the responsibility of this role started to hit home as did the headache from the over indulgence the night before.

I have really enjoyed this role and the people I have met through this great association, this however will be my last edition as Editor, I have found this decision very hard to make, but with my ever increasing work load and other commitments I feel it is time for another member from the Association to have a go.
