NZ Chefs Association LogoThe New Zealand Chefs Association Inc. is a member of the World Association of Cook Societies and was the first association to establish professional chefs training in this country. The Association strives for professionalism and has set the standards in the Foodservice Industry for many years. The Association celebrated its 40th anniversary in 1997.

The New Zealand Chefs Association Inc. has established a reputation in the International Competition arena with numerous teams representing New Zealand and winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, in such countries as Germany, Singapore, America and Australia.

Our involvement extents to representation with the Hotel Standards Institute, Lamb Cuisine Advisory Panel, Polytechnic representation through out the country and the Kingfisher Scholarship Advisory Panel for continuing education for trainee chefs within training industry programmes.
